Dr. Faris Ohan
Dr. Faris Ohan is a 2004 graduate of the Southern College of Optometry, where he graduated Valedictorian of his optometry class. He has received his Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Tennessee, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Ohan serves on the Paraoptometric CE Review Committee of the American Optometric Association. He has been with Vision Trends Eye Care since obtaining his Optometry degree in 2004. Dr. Ohan sees patients in our office on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays.
Dr. Ouida Middleton
Dr. Ouida Middleton graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2000. She is a native Houstonian, and has been with Vision Trends Eye Care since 2003. Dr. Middleton served for many years as a Regional Trustee to the National Optometric Association. Dr. Middleton sees patient in our office on Fridays and Saturdays, and often on Wednesdays when Dr. Larry is out of town.
Dr. Cheuk
Dr. Cheuk graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2022 with Summa Cum Laude. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin. During his 4th year of optometry school, he rotated through Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, Texas, where he had tremendous exposure to a wide variety of ocular diseases. In his free time, he likes to explore the food scene in Houston with his wife and watch the Houston Rockets.
Dr. Tran
Dr. Tran earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
As a licensed therapeutic optometrist and certified optometric glaucoma specialist, Dr. Tran specializes in managing various ocular diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and dry-eye disease. Dr. Tran is committed to offering comprehensive primary eye care for families and taking the time to teach her patients about their individual eye health & vision needs.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Tran enjoys practicing yoga, learning piano, and travelling with her husband to experience new cultures and cuisines.
Sergio
Sergio recently returned to Vision Trends working full time. For the past year and a half, he worked on Saturdays only. Sergio is an experienced optician, and we are happy to welcome him back. He has a beautiful daughter, and enjoys spending as much time with her as possible. Sergio also serves on the Rosenberg Planning Commission.
